Wow, this was beyond bad. I had to turn it off halfway through because of its atrocious distortion of history. I could actually feel my brain cells being destroyed in real-time.

As a sci-fi fan I forced myself to get through season 1 of this show and it was admittedly painful at times. However, by the middle of season 2 the show comes into its own and I would go so far as to call it a damn good sci-fi series by season 3. This is by television sci-fi standards, limited budget, Canadian, etc lol

The Last House (2026)

This movie had a lot of potential in the first 35 minutes, then goes completely off the rails. It's a solid sci-fi concept, but horribly executed.

This should have been a great movie. Acting and cinematography are solid. Unfortunately, it's a self-indulgent series of plot devices that is confusing and ultimately boring. Someone needs to tell Spielberg when his ideas suck.

Really great movie overall. I would say it is a drama first, but a very good one at that. The characters are extremely well developed and the acting was spot on. My one criticism is that it's not a very believable crime story. I think safe crackers need a few more skills these days, but it didn't bother me that much because of the strong characters and performances.

Great horror movie! It is in English, btw. Parts of it take place in Egypt where they speak Arabic. I know some people can't grasp the concept of subtitles, but for the rest of us that appreciate cultural diversity and representation in movies, this was very well done. It is a pretty gruesome horror movie, so it's not for the squeemish.
