Anti-Woke , , Netherlands, is spot on in analysis. Sooo sick of hollywood (and other companies) shoving this "woke crap" on a public who is just too sane to accept their BS ! The addition of this perversion, is totally unneeded, and only pushes this sick agenda. Especially disappointed in Tom Hanks, being a part of this mess. Lost some respect. M5 V9 A9 past hour Vlcoun 61, M, Albania, is absolutely correct ~ nothing new, nothing mind blowing. It is not a bad movie, it's just OK. If you have seen the trailers, then you have seen the best of this film. Given that it's a "Guy Ritchie" film, and the excellent leads, I expected more. But, when a film is delayed as much as this one was, you just know something's not right. 2.5 out of 5. If you have nothing better to do or watch, this will suffice.
I have been a fan of korean drama for years , now This has long been an absolute favorite. The humor the intensity, the wonderful character building, all is just wonderful. If you are a fan of good writing and excellent performing, this is an ABSOLUTE MUST SEE. Soooooooooooooooooooooo much better than what hollywood is currently producing. Great all the way through. (I promise.)
Aaron Eckhart is such a fine actor; I truly enjoy him. BUT, this ? ? ? This (?) is TRULY, TRULY, TRULY beneath him. What was he thinking ? ? ? Just don't people, don't !

SUCH A DISAPPOINTMENT ! All the talent in this film (And there is some serious talent in this mess) is soooooo wasted in a hot garbage of a script ! ! ! And, whoever cast this guy as a viable ":Han Solo", should be forever banned from the film business. And, finally, what has happened to IMDB ?.I've seen so many films given high scores that are just bad I always double-check other sights for acuracy, before accepting ANY rating from them. This film gets a 6.9 ? ? ? ? ? WTH. A 4.9 at best. #beinggenerous
The french have a series called "Call My Agent", which is quite good. The English have adapted that, to the world of acting in London. It feels very much like "The Devil Wears Prada", and it is exceedingly well done. It is set in a talent agency, with many of those dynamics which made "Prada" distinctive~the demanding boss~the new, inexperienced intern~the tight schedules and impossible situations. All in all, it is quite well accomplished; and worth a watch. The cast is very talented, the guest stars are fun. The scripting is very well written. Highly recommended.
OK, First~take ANY movie, Jackson has done in the last 25 years, you can mix and match ANY of his characters form those movies, and nothing changes. this is the MOST~ repeat, "MOST" overrated screen presence, in film history. He's found a character that people are buying, and he simply inserts that into whatever project he is currently doing. Second~this whole movie is hot garbage. Waste your time, if you desire, BUT, you've been warned. Finally~is anyone else sick & tired of Jackson's "I'm a bad MF"er;"; "Am I black enough for ya ?", shtick ? That's his whole tool bag. Enough already ! ! !
I must agree with "SerialKillerJTR 48" on this one.Three of my favorite performers~Ryan, Chris, and Ana~ All, well versed in action roles, all brilliant actors, all wasted in a run of the mill, plodding storyline. The actors, themselves deliver excellence, as usual and, if you are looking for great action sequences, this film delivers all of that.BUT, if you are looking for a tight storyline, with a satisfying ending~ THIS AIN'T IT ! I suppose it's worth a look, but it left me disappointed; and the more I think on the film, the more disappointed I become. So ~ Action in spades ~ Humour falls flat ~ Storyline, MOST unsatisfying ! Also, I must confess, seeing Chris Evans play a demented psycho, killer, was amusing.
If you are a fan of Essie Davis, and the original Miss Fisher's Series. DON'T EXPECT THE SAME quality in acting, story line, et al, from this new series. I dragged myself across the finish line of the first season, hoping it would improve. It did not ! I am truly surprised that it is rated as high as it is. 7.2 ? ? ? No way.The people who rated this show, clearly have not seen the original. The style, the panache', the "joie de vivre", of the original, the elegance~ all gone. The second season may be better ? ? ? I'll never know.
Truly enjoy this show. So many of the crime shows are soooooooooooooo dark and grim (Law and Order:SUV), no humor at all. This has a great mix and humor and mystery~just good fun. Country music fans MUST, at least, check it out. It has become one my favorites. The character development and interaction is wonderful. If you really like the darker stuff, this is not for you.
How about we just look at the Documentary and decide for ourselves~think for ourselves, if there might be some modicum of credence to what is being presented ? Or, we must be like those who discredit the film, SIGHT UNSEEN, for reasons of their own ? Might we, just thus once, have an open and honest conversation on a subject,WITHOUT the "Nick-Adventure" style of insult ? Because you are highly intelligent people, and because, you do have the capability of thinking for yourselves,you CAN watch and determine for yourselves'
The world is soooooo stinking serious ! I love, love, LOVE movies like this. Shut off your brain~fire up the popcorn, and watch Elsa Pataky kick some serious butt ! She "One-Up's" her husband in this, because, she does it with NO SUPER POWERS ! ! ! Elsa truly rocks ! ! !
