Video and audio are really good. A very small amount of hardcoded Russian subs. But I hardly noticed those. As for the film. Well I love Star Wars, so I enjoyed it a lot. You might, you might not. There's only one way to find out.
I really liked the Jack Ryan TV shows. Watching this, feels like they tried to fit one whole season, consisting of eight one hour episodes, into a one hour and forty five minutes long film. The result is absolutely no tension considering the stakes of the plot. As for the relationship between John Krasinski and Sienna Miller's characters. Nope, doesn't work, total bollocks. This film is heavily relying on you having also watched the TV shows for most of the character development. But it just doesn't work. It's ok if you're bored one Sunday afternoon. But don't expect to get much enjoyment from the experience.
Audio is clear, as is the video. As mentioned hard coded Russian subs for the predator speech. The alternate 720 YIFY subs downloaded from the subs bar work in sync
I thought this was ok. A little slow paced, but definitely worth a watch. As for the diverse cast? If you think that's some kinda mind control brainwashing conspiracy, then you're definitely a racist stuck in the 50's.
