I agree with @bokkie83, it is absolutely brilliant!! Great movie...Plus, Bryan Fuller is the mind behind Pushing Daisies, Wonderfalls, and Dead Like Me — my three favorite series.
I’m still surprised by how utterly artificial American actors and actresses come across—the poses, the faces, the little fingers touching their hair, everything so unnatural. By contrast, how wonderfully well the British do it; they actually know how to act. Anyway, the movie is extremely boring, incredibly stupid, and ridiculous.
@fatgutts Maybe it’s time for you to grow up, because constantly complaining about ‘woke’ stuff is starting to get really boring. You MAGA folks are turning people into “leftists” at an incredible pace — congratulations.
I swear I’ve tried. My husband and I sat down in front of the TV with the best intentions, and after 20 minutes we decided that was enough. Too slow, too boring, too pretentious. I love Guillermo del Toro, but this movie needs a strong dose of caffeine and a pair of toothpicks to keep your eyes open.
I don’t know why we keep taking the US so seriously. They have a higher percentage of uneducated people than most civilized countries, and there they are, lecturing the world. And yes, apparently extraterrestrials only visit them, of course they do. What a bunch of people — no wonder they vote the way they do.
