This is the incorrect film. This is A LIEN, a 2023 American short. That said, it's a very pertinent film about what is happening in the world and particularly the US with the current administration and it's cruel and dividing policies.
I see some people are offended because McGovern has delivered a stateside version of his UK series and it may contain such concepts that some USA folk consider inappropriate. If you don't like looking into the mirror, don't look. McGovern's work is usually gritty, reflective and delivers characters who represent the best and worst in all of us. For those whimpering about agenda and "woke" ness. You've had your turn, now kindly sit down and let others have a go.
