After reading the comments, I decided to give it a try and was not disappointed. This is excellent sci-fi with a compelling plot, believable characters, and strong direction.
Excellent series. Fantastic cast, characters, and storyline. Season 2 is meant to be the first part of the season finale, which will be the third. I’ve read that the gap between the 2nd and 3rd will be significantly smaller—a recommended watch imho.
In my opinion, the movie is a cautionary tale that portrays the chaotic state of our world today. I really enjoyed it. The unexpected ending did not bother me that much. Great acting, I’m a big Kathryn Bigelow fan, so my opinion is kinda biased. Definitely worth a watch, I think.
This is an excellent depiction of what a real warlike situation must be like. I was immensely impacted by it. Thumbs up! The idea of an uninterrupted timeline from start to finish is excellent.
Some people are not 7th art lovers. Too long, too dull, too much drama, too little, too much action, too little. Incapable of appreciating beautiful cinematography, precise and talented directors, inspired soundtracks, and so many more details that make some pictures unique and beautiful. These folks better stick to porn, I think.
Yes, thank you, @Crasslee. It really would. We need more of these wonderfully produced, up-to-date astronomy documentaries. These three episodes were a treat. I'm really looking forward to more of them.
I've watched Taylor Sheridan’s biography of Bass Reeves, starring David Oyelowo. It was pretty good, but this documentary is far more detailed and comprehensive. It portrays the lawman and character he was, even the changing times he lived through. It is very good, indeed.
