Little House on the Prairie (2026)

I don’t know why they do it, but this is another example of how to ruin an old series. Whatever made the original special just isn’t here, and the new version feels unnecessary. Some things are better left alone.

Star Trek: Starfleet Academy (2026)

I must admit, as a Star Wars series I didn’t enjoy this. It just didn’t capture what I look for in that universe. But as a standalone series, it wasn’t as bad as people say. Taken on its own, it works better — just not as part of the wider Star Wars world.

Yet again, another series that just can’t live up to its first season. It’s not terrible, but it never reaches the same level, and you can feel the drop-off almost immediately. A real shame, because the potential was there — it just didn’t carry through.

Young Sherlock (2026)

I didn’t find this series any good. I tried to look past the heavy Americanisation of it, but I couldn’t — even though I do enjoy American sitcoms and series. This one just isn’t something I’m going to continue watching. Some people say it’s pretty good, but it’s not for me.

Shrinking (2023)

If you haven’t seen this series yet, you’re missing out. It only has three seasons because it’s now finished, and I’ll genuinely miss it. But honestly, it’s quite nice that it ended where it did — it feels complete, and it finished in the right place.

Although I think the first season was better, the second season did improve as it went along. The problem is the first season set such a high bar that it was always going to be hard to match. Season 2 not as good as season 1 but only see 2 episodes' carried on watching, but I couldn’t make it to the end. The storylines just got worse and worse, and I finally gave up. It’s a shame, but it completely lost me.

Small Prophets (2026)

If you haven’t watched this yet, you’re missing out. It’s full of fun and humour, very British in the best way, and the acting is genuinely strong. I won’t spoil the story, but it’s quite amusing and well worth your time.

Ponies (2026)

I watched the first series halfway through and gave up. I love the actresses, but I just couldn’t cope with the era it’s set in. I’m not really into that Cold War vibe, and it just didn’t pull me in.

Fallout (2024)

The curse of the second season strikes again. It’s still okay, but nowhere near the level of the first. I just hope the third season picks things back up.

School Spirits (2023)

I watched the first series and enjoyed it, but I’ve given up on the second. It’s a pity, but it just doesn’t feel like it has anywhere else to go. The spark from the first series isn’t there anymore, so I stopped watching.

Dutton Ranch (2026)

I have to admit, I haven’t enjoyed this series at all. I stopped at episode 5 because it just wasn’t grabbing me. I watched The Marshals all the way through, and I’ve watched Yellowstone and all the related films — which I think are fantastic. But this one just doesn’t do it for me. I can’t quite put my finger on why. Maybe it’s the actress, maybe it’s the tone, I honestly don’t know — it just never clicked.

I really enjoyed this film. It’s light‑hearted with a bit of suspense here and there, and honestly, it’s impressive considering there’s basically only one actor carrying the whole thing. They did a great job, and the film is just easy, enjoyable fun.

pretty much the same as the last one. Maybe not quite as good as the first film, but close enough. There isn’t much more to say — it does what it does, just not as well as the original.
