very mediocre, DeNiro looks like he doesn't want to be there and turned up just to pay the bills, good start to the storyline which in the end loses steam and just gets a bit stupid, 5 and a half episodes of nothing really happening, a lot of side plots not really working, the debt ridden aide being controlled by sinister forces, some top secret mind control device in a bird feeder, the illegitimate child, rebellious daughter.. all these did nothing for the story except make it 3 episodes longer than i should have been, then half of episode 5 they started getting somewhere and all wrapped up rather rushed, in episode 6 with DeNiro walking off at the end like he's constipated..

absolute garbage, and offensive to fans of Sherlock Holmes, I don't care that he's now African American, (Lucy Liu was great in Elementary) but as a previous reviewer stated this is just a rehash of House MD so poorly written and acted that they needed to attach a quirk to it hoping it won't get cancelled mid-season.. just an unsolvable case a week where his clinic and diverse hot young 'specialist' doctors are the only ones that can eventually help after making it worse, with a bit of trying to identify Moriarty in the back story (who now has an easily identifiable deformity).

nothing to do with Batman Universe yet and only been mentioned once in 3 episodes..and that was a news report 3 mins into the first episode, no mention from any of the criminals of The Bat vigilante so its just a story about about an underboss in a crime family wanting more than he's got, could be any family in any city they just needed a big name to put to it.. Colin Farrel is brilliant though...
