The film might not be woke, but just an FYI - Batista is very supportive of the LGBT community. His mum is gay and grew up supporting her and who she is. He has harsh words for anyone that doesn't support the LGBT community. Glad the movie had no themes of tolerance that would get in the way of you enjoying it.
Actually - Ariel is a fictitious character and therefore has no real race. In fact, these are wonderful characters to reimagine and allow children of different backgrounds to connect with and look up to. I think maybe you should try and be more tolerant of a person. People like you are the reason that changes like this should be happening more.
