Solid action flick that (excuse the pun) runs out of steam near the end. It got a little repetitive inching towards the finale, so there's definitely a good 20 minutes that could've been dropped. But hey, I liked it more than I thought I would. Not Wright's best, but well worth a watch.
It's less 'fun' than the other two Knives Out Mysteries - but I still enjoyed it. Rian Johnson knows his stuff, so while the 'who' is a little easier to figure out this time, the how and why are still an entertaining treat. Keep 'm coming!
saw this at the filmfestival in my town. Well shot, well acted - but djeez this was boring. Why do I need to care about this man and his petty domestic problems. And his opioid addiction? Let's just have a scene where he goes to rehab and then one where he gets out: problem solved. Saw this in a cinema where most of the crowd laughed at the (overly) dramatic scenes between Blunt and Johnson.
your use of 'retarded' and 'gender swapped' tells me all I need to know dear 'Raptor'. There are plenty of versions of the silver surfer in the comics (including a cat and yes, indeed, also a female one) Keep your snowflake ragebait for X. Just review the movie plz. About that: it's fine, a decent Marvel flick, we all know what those are by now.
I laughed once or twice, and it's got some decent chuckles in there - but it's just not good. Of the million jokes and visual gags only a few work - and it misses an energy, better pacing and editing and most of all ... the irreplaceable Leslie Nielsen. Neeson does his best, but his grunting schtick just doesn't work for this film.
Saw this in an advanced screening with other Superman fans and everyone was like 'meh'. I don't mind the focus on what everyone else calls 'woke' even the allusions to 'not Israel' invading 'not Palestine' - as was said here, a 'liberal' mindset (aka: sanity + morals) fits the narrative. if you know the character, you know that's on point (it's on point for most superheroes btw) - I just feel like it took such a 180 degree turn into cartoon territory that it felt kind of off. James Gunn has this one-size-fits-all treatment for superheroes ... and what worked for Guardians just doesn't feel right for this one. But hey ... Corenswet is a good supes
this trailer made me laugh out loud :D as a concept I have to say the idea of envisioning a world where religion in its totality (not just christianity) has been outlawed is an intriguing one. But this blatant Z grade faith propaganda is a big self-serious joke
@Bohan: from 'tarded' writers of our current day? Completely neglecting the fact that this was directed by the same director and written by the same writer as the first installment? What did you want, the same exact film repeated? This one had depth and emotion at the front and center of it, and the bonkers ending is making me curious to what comes next. It has its flaws, sure - But the world building / acting was great - if this is your idea of a Disney drama ... I shudder to think what kind of gruesome Disney knock off products you grew up with :)
NoOneCares, you crack me up :) obvious troll obviously trolling. You think I don't agree with you that sexual abuse (at any age btw) is terrible and should be punished to the fullest extent of the law? Of course I do - but please, do expand on how a tolerant story about first love is kid porn? :) ... go ahead, I'll wait.
The bubble in which many Israelis live (which only regurgitates the lies their own government spews) has been burst for the world to see, and they can't take that realization. So the only thing they know how to do is try to justify decades of abuse and labeling freedom fighters as terrorists. I always wonder if those people watch Star Wars movies to then root for the Empire and Darth Netany- sorry ... 'Vader'. With the disturbing news that this filmmaker has now been targeted this documentary is even more important. Watch it.
I swear, the sheer amount of pea brained dimwits who scream DEI and woke at everything their moderate intelligence can't comprehend is getting out of hand. Is your self image that low that you have to troll others online to make yourself feel better? Fine, if a movie isn't for you ... so be it - move on and go watch Fast & Furious number 72 1/5
